Anyways, I think my last update in this blog was around March 2010. Well, if I must explain where I had been the past few months, I’d like to simplify it in this paragraph;

So I went back to Manila around January 2010 to finish my 3rd trimester of college in DLSU. I was so lazy I was barely attending classes. I passed all the important ones anyways (ENGALG and ENGTRIG.) Then, my mom decided we will migrate to Japan. I was asked whether I wanted to come with them or stay. I decided to go to Japan. So now I live in Japan. LOL Now I’m working on a night shift job so that I can earn enough money for a Japanese Language Institute in Tokyo (which I will be attending, Spring next year) in order to qualify for a Japanese university next next year. Wee~

I don’t have much to say at the moment. But, I’ll try to keep talking here. ^^ Blogging had always been a nice therapy for me. Lately, I’ve been on Twitter too much and I think that’s the reason why my writing skills are deteriorating. I’m getting used to keeping it short–limiting my opinion to 140 fucking characters.

But I will never be happy to write a research paper.

Why?

Because a research paper is rather… recycled words merged together. You need facts from existing people that have already stated them–a copycat of some sort. I like expressing my own opinion. Sure, it might have been influenced by other people, but I still say and come up with my own words and opinion. I don’t take words from other people’s mouths and say it as if it were mine. I have that much pride and dignity. It’s not that I’m stubborn or boastful. I just like to respect what others’ opinions as I wish for them to respect mine’s. (Flores, 2010)

Let’s get one thing straight before I start on my spazz.

Say, the song apparently is a Ke$ha cover? No, actually no. Please, let’s get our facts straight. Ke$ha never officially released the song. She demo-ed it. But it wasn’t really officially released to the public as HER song. Frankly, I don’t care. But what I care about is straightening out bended facts that are embedded into the tiny tiny narrow paths in some people’s minds, because I can’t stand watching people talk with groundless words.

Anyways, getting on. I love the song. I love the beats. I love the lyrics. I love it. This is why I love being a genre-less person. It makes me open to almost everything that SNSD comes up with. The girls didn’t disappoint me. It pains me though to see other fans acting like the girls have disappointed them.

The music video is pure sex. Enough said.

A tiny rant.

Maybe this song isn’t really that appealing to some people. But really. Stop complaining. SNSD comes up with cute, you call them fake and too old. They come up with strong and bold like Run Devil Run, and you’re like what. They come up with sexy like Genie and Chocolate Love, and you’re like PORN. (Mind you, sex sells, because YOU’RE buying it.)

You always have something to say. But tell me… what have YOU come up with? So let’s STFU and appreciate things rather than complain about it.

On the way out, I honestly ordered myself to not impulsively spend money over anything–be it clothes or any tech stuff. But being me, of course, I just had to defy that. I ended up spending money over computer peripherals. D: Screw this! So while waiting for the 5:00 pm show, me and my brothers went around the mall today to look for a new keyboard, mouse, and speaker.

After settling on a good keyboard and an awesome mouse, my brothers decided to hit up the arcade for we were still an hour early for the show. So we got in and played a little. Of course, I played some Initial D!

We were about to head off to the cinemas when my youngest brother tells the other one, “Hey, the keyboard is with you, right?” and then darkness fills Mick’s face. And then we knew… THIS BASTARD FORGOT THE KEYBOARD SOMEWHERE! I was God damn enraged, to be honest. I wanted to rip his guts out. Meh, up to now, when I reminisce about that moment, I still sorta want to rip his God damn guts out.

So we spent the next 10 minutes looking for it, but we all knew it was hopeless. We’re in the Philippines for God’s sake. =/

I was just really disappointed in my brother. It was so idiotic–whatever he did. I couldn’t even look at him without cussing. Plus, it wasn’t his money. Me and my youngest brother spent the money. So I’m like… WTF BASTARD DAIIIII. =/ I’m not that mean of a sister though. Of course, I’m just initially angry. Cause it’s like a “GDI, can you get any stupider? HAHAHA” kind of pathetic abyss.

Either way, I gradually got over it. Traded in the expensive mouse we bought for another keyboard and bought a cheaper mouse and a new set of speakers. =/ Shiny toys always calm me down faster than sedatives can.

Sigh, what an epic day.

By the way, Legion was awesome. D: It could’ve been done better…. but it’s passable. So-so, I say. It does gives you false hopes about smokin’ hot angels and their ripped bodies and GDI awesome armors! D:

ROFL Talk about sex education, eh?! Hahaha

To be honest, when I first heard the title track “Oh!” I was kind of disappointed cause I knew that these girls can do so much better than that. After a while though, it kinda grew on me…. and of course the music video helped a lot in embedding the song into my brain too. ROFL

With a title track like “Oh!”, I didn’t expect much from the rest of the album… but… HELL YEAH THEY PROVED ME WRONG! rofl

Okay, I swear… I loveeeeee this album to bits. Bias fangirl aside, the songs are catchy fresh, and there’s a balance between fun and amazingly talented.

Here’s a point by point review! Just cause this is my blog… rofl (New songs only though. rofl)

1. Oh! – This would probably Gee’s predecessor. It’s an annoying WTF song but it’s on repeat on everyone’s iPod/iTunes anyways. ) It’s super addictive and catchy!

2. Show! Show! Show! – OMFG, so friggin addictive. When Tiffany says, “Forever and more~” I just got hooked. LOL

3. 뻔&Fun (Sweet Talking Baby) – I love the bass melody! ROFL it’s so Korean-esque! HAHAHA, which makes the song super cute.

4. 영원히 너와 꿈꾸고 싶다 (Forever) – Beautiful. =] Love it.

5. 웃자 (Be Happy) – OMG Jessica’s rap/narration at the beginning is squeeeeeeeable. ROFL Firstly, thank God she didn’t say something like, “You make me a paradise.” (Yeah, sorry Micky. =/) And the song itself is just so refreshing and quirky!

6. 화성인 바이러스 (Boys & Girls) -feat.key (SHINee) - Haha this one is so cuteeee! It has that retro feel w/c makes it so light and enjoyable! Okay, don’t throw rocks at me SHINee fans… but it took me around 3 times of listening before I realized that Key really WAS in this song. =/

7. 카라멜 커피 (Talk To Me) – OMG. It has that “Play me on a cafe” feel. XD My bias lies in JeTi so it’s obvious why I like this song… besides for the fact that they REALLY are good singers together. rofl

8. 별별별 (☆★☆) – Holy shit, this song is just epic amazing. My new favorite SNSD song EVERRRRR. I love the lyrics, I love the feel. Holy crap. =/ ROFL I just love it to bits.

9. 무조건 해피엔딩 (Stick Wit U) – Cute. Once again, retro-feel. ROFL

I found it cute that despite the character’s tough and rebellious exterior, there was one elder that transcends through the boundaries that he had set up against others.

Then it hit me. I had someone who was like that too.

I’m really cold and unaffectionate, but it just hit me at how much aegyo* I used towards my yaya*. That even as I age throughout the years, I always feel like a kid that she takes care of. I always act like a kid in front of her. Yes, big ol’ 17 year old me, would still whine and talk like a kid when I ask her for things and throw tantrums when I’m not followed.

I guess you can’t help but act like a kid towards those who have been with you ever since your childhood. Because you remember how these people took care of you as a kid and you want to preserve that moment forever.

I was in Japan for the past few months, so yeah, I wasn’t really able to blog much. Except Twitter. LOL Cause everyone else is!!! Hahaha. Anyways, hopefully, I’d be able to write more here.

Mind you, I’m one of the words slowest writers–cause I tend to OCD in checking and revising. Plus, I carefully brainstorm. Which sucks cause it’s not like I come up with awesome beautiful written plots anyways. Either way, it just feels like I can’t write lately. =/

Hopefully though, it comes back soon. Cause I really want to write. :] For my readers <3
